Celgene prescription process for restricted distribution products
Certain Celgene products are only available through restricted distribution programs. Restricted distribution programs are mandated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because of the risks associated with certain medications.

You must enroll in the program required for your medication. You must agree to the program’s rules. Then you can fill your prescription. Contact your Celgene Patient Support® Specialist at 1-800-931-8691 for more information about these programs.

1 Your healthcare professional decides you need a Celgene product and conducts appropriate tests.
2 You and your healthcare professional fill out an agreement form to enroll into the proper restricted distribution program.
3 Once you have completed the agreement form, you and your healthcare professional will need to complete a brief, confidential telephone survey.

Your healthcare professional will help decide which pharmacy will fill your prescription. You may be able to pick up your prescription from the pharmacy, or the pharmacy may mail it to you. 5 Your healthcare professional will monitor your progress on treatment.

Can I pick up my prescription from my local pharmacy?

Certain Celgene medications are only available through restricted distribution programs. Restricted distribution programs are mandated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because of the risks associated with certain medications. Only pharmacies registered with these Celgene programs can fill these prescriptions. Why did the pharmacy call me?

Certain Celgene medications are only available through restricted distribution programs. These medications require extra steps in order for you to get your prescription. As part of these steps, the pharmacy registered to fill your prescription may call you on the phone to discuss some information about your medication. How long does it take for me to get my prescription?

Certain Celgene medications are only available through restricted distribution programs. As part of these programs, you will need to complete a brief, confidential telephone survey before you can get a prescription. How much is the prescription going to cost me?

For information about the cost of your medication, please contact Celgene Patient Support® at 1-800-931-8691. Many options are available to patients who cannot afford their medications. If you do not have insurance or need help with out-of-pocket costs, your Celgene Patient Support® Specialist can tell you about possible financial assistance resources based on your individual circumstance.
